How a review works · for reviewers
A coding assistant has a question only you can answer.
Someone on your team wants to change your product. Answer the open questions, check that the proposal says what you mean, and approve it or ask for changes.
No technical knowledge needed. Approval does not release anything to customers.
Proposal: Let customers cancel their plan themselves
Choose an answer to preview what it would add to the proposal.
01 · Answer the questions
You know what should happen for customers.
Choose an answer for each question, or write your own. Then use Send answers to send them together.
Not ready to answer one yet? Choose Not now. The question stays on the page, and the proposal cannot be approved until it is answered.
Sending answers does not approve the proposal.
Let customers cancel their plan themselves
Today, customers have to contact support. Let them cancel from the billing page.
02 · Check the proposal
Did it understand what you meant?
The coding assistant writes your answers into the proposal. You can leave while it does this; your answers are saved. Come back to the same link to check the result.
When the questions are settled and your answers are written in, the page shows what customers would experience. Lines added from your answers are marked. Check that they describe what you intended.
If you said “Yes, and say the exact date access ends,” the proposal should now say that the confirmation email includes that date.
If a line is wrong, use Not what I meant underneath it to explain.

- After cancelling, the customer keeps access until the end of the paid period.Added from your answer
- A confirmation email states the exact date access ends.Added from your answer
Does this match what you meant?
03 · Approve or ask for changes
You decide when the proposal is ready.
If the proposal says what you mean, use Approve or Approve and build in the bottom bar. The bar explains whether the coding assistant is set to build next or will wait for a separate go-ahead.
If something needs changing, say what and why. The coding assistant responds, and you check whether it addressed your request. Then decide on the proposal as a whole.
Approval covers the version you read. If the proposal changes, it needs your approval again. Releasing the change to customers is a separate team decision.

If you get stuck
I sent my answers. What happens next?
The coding assistant adds them to the proposal. If the page says no assistant is listening, ask the person who invited you to continue the review. Your answers are saved.

What do the small numbers beside sentences mean?
They open the original wording behind that sentence, so you can check the explanation against it. Full proposal and history below contains the coding assistant's working material and the detailed record.
What happens after I approve?
The page records your approval and whether build instructions were provided to the coding assistant. It cannot tell you whether the change has been built or released. If the proposal changes, come back and check the marked lines.
